Where it all Began
Dick Lamb founded American River Packaging in 1980, opening our first manufacturing plant in Sacramento California.
Over the next 25 years we acquired two additional manufacturing facilities and grew our company to about $20 million in annual sales.
In 2005 Tom Kandris of PackageOne, a Sacramento based packaging distributor, acquired ARP, allowing Mr. Lamb to retire.
Our combined manufacturing and distribution product offerings then grew to about $40 million in annual revenues.
In 2008 & 2009 we sold off portions of the distribution business and shifted our focus again to our core competency of manufacturing quality corrugated products.
Today we remain a privately held company with over 75 employees and are growing stronger in our regions with our proven capabilites.
We also have an open invitation to you to arrange a visit to either of our manufacturing facilities and take a tour of our operations.
